Released December 1, 2022. 3 parts: Part 1 (20:51), Part 2 (26:03), Part 3 (27:58). Buck 65: 'This is a live, one-take vocal run-through of the original version of Man Overboard. It was recorded weeks before the final version. I recorded this at Sixtoo's house. He engineered the session. You'll hear his voice throughout. You'll also hear his phone ring and a message being left by the legendary Jorun Bombay! Be warned that this was ripped directly off a cassette tape, so the sound-quality is low. And my vocal take is littered with flubbed lines and screw-ups. On the upside, there's almost no trace of the old man voice that tarnished the final version. Enjoy at your own risk.' The 'old man voice' self-criticism is notable — Buck 65 has publicly lamented the vocal delivery on the final Man Overboard album. This demo reveals what it sounded like before whatever change occurred. Fan note: 'Part 3, in particular, has some sick additional material.' Sixtoo's voice is audible throughout the session recording. Jorun Bombay leaves a voicemail message during the recording — captured on tape.
